What services do you offer?

How long does it take to design and build a website?
We aim to complete a website in 4 – 5 weeks from beginning to end. This timeframe is reliant on you providing feedback within our specified timeframe at each milestone. Any delay in receiving feedback will extend the timeframe.
Upon acceptance of our proposal, we will issue you with an invoice for the deposit amount. Once we receive the deposit, we begin work immediately.
How can I ensure that my website is completed on time?
At each stage of the project, we will require feedback from you before proceeding to the next stage. To ensure that your website is completed within the specified timeframe, please provide feedback as soon as possible. We will specify how soon we will require feedback in order to stay on track with our timeframe.
What is a Domain Name?
A domain name is your own personal online address. Every website has a distinct domain name which differentiates it from other sites. It is good to have a domain name that either reflects, or closely reflects, your business name or type of business, as it will make it easier for people to remember.
Once you register a domain name, it’s yours for the period that you have registered it. Once it is due for renewal, you must renew it in order to stop anyone else from registering it.
A domain name can sometimes be confused with a Uniform Resource Locator (URL). A URL refers to the entire address including colons and slashes. Therefore, URL’s are used to identify different web pages within a site.
What is Web Hosting?
Web Hosting is a service that houses, services and maintains the files that make up a website. This is what allows your website to be accessible to the public, on the internet. Your website information needs to be stored somewhere in a secure and controlled environment to ensure that it remains accessible as much as possible.
What is a Content Managed System (CMS)?
A Content Management System is a system that is used to manage the content of a website. It is a user-friendly, non-technical software tool that allows you to create and edit content, therefore, you have greater control of your website. As your business grows or changes, you can change your website to suit.
If you purchase a Content Management System, as part of the package, we provide a tutorial to show you and your staff how to create, edit or update content on your site.
What format should I provide content and images in?
All content must be provided by you, unless we have quoted on this separately. This includes text, images and any other media required for the completion of this project. All content and photographs provided by you need to be supplied in a digital format. Stock photographs can be purchased at an additional cost to you.
What is Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)?
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the use of strategies and techniques to increase the amount of visitors to your website by gaining a higher ranking in search engines such as Google. When people search for something, they use specific keywords and phrases related to what they are looking for. Quite often, people don’t bother clicking past the first page of searches.
